At first, the visitors learnt about the research projects conducted at the IPPLM and later they had a tour around the institute laboratories. An exchange of ideas and opinions during the visit lead to the general discussion on the range of research activities and international cooperation of the institute. The quests were particularly interested in the cooperation between the Institute of Plasma Physics and Laser Microfusion and the research institutes from France.

The French delegation was impressed by diversity and innovation of the projects and the wide range of cooperation. They ensured about their support for the Polish-French fusion collaboration and willingness to widen it in future.

Both sides emphasised that the meeting was very fruitful.
