Kudowa Summer School takes place in summer usually in June. It is organised  by the Institute of Plasma Physics and Laser Microfusion and the International Centre for Dense Magnetised Plasma (ICDMP). Multinational audience, mostly PhD students but also Master students and young scientists from all Europe had opportunity to consolidate and widen their knowledge in fusion.

The topics of the lectures:

  • Fusion Energy

  • Magnetic Confinement Fusion (MCF)

  • Inertial Confinement Fusion (ICF)

  • Plasma Facing Materials and Plasma-Wall Interaction

  • Plasma Diagnostic Techniques

  • Fusion Technology

Each year there are about 50 participants from various European countries (Poland, Russia, Ukraine, Hungary, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Italy, Lithuania, Spain, Sweden) and also from non-European: India, Pakistan.
