Instytut Fizyki Plazmy i Laserowej Mikrosyntezy został sklasyfikowany na 4 pozycji spośród polskich instytutów badawczych, które biorą udział w programie Horyzont 2020. W klasyfikacji uwzględniono 20 instytucji.
